I'm sure that you probably did.
I can be a little slow at times when it comes to trying these sorts of things. The idea will pop into my head but then it will take awhile before I actually get around to doing it.
So I finally did it and I like the results.
Here's another one
I love those shiny mirror-like chrome looking lamps but I wanted to use something that I already had, so I painted this one in shiny, bright metallic silver spray paint. I used an image from The Graphics Fairy - et voila - a new lamp.
Loving it!
Images for both lamp shades are from The Graphics Fairy.

wish I'd thought of this ... lol
clearly, it's a beautiful work of art when finished
Gorgeous, love the shades. Now how in the world do you do this. I must really be way behind. Hope you do a tutorial. Hugs, Marty

I'm new to a lot of these ideas...but a fast learner. What does the *citra-solv method entail? Burlap on the way from Joann.com so I will give it a try soon! Your ideas are awesome! Thanks sooo much for sharing! Blessings, Mumsie ;o)
Love the lamp and shade makeover. I've had a lamp shade makeover in mind for some time. I hope to put the idea in action soon. This post has inspired me to do it earlier than later. :)
