Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

Yes, that's right.  Chocolate chip cookie dough that you can actually eat.  Without worry, without fear!
and it's delicious!!

I've made this stuff way more times than I'd care to admit.
 It's that good.

I found the recipe on Pinterest a little over a year ago and it's one of my most popular pins.

Okay, so here it is:
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1tsp vanilla
1cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 TBSP milk
1 cup chocolate chips

Cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Add flour and salt stir until combined. Add milk then fold in chocolate chips.

Done and enjoy!!

Chic on the Cheap - A Table Lamp and Vignette

Good morning everyone!
The kids are back in school now, so I've been doing a bit of cleaning as well as catching up on some neglected projects during the little one's nap time.

I wanted to show you this table that I finished.  There is a corner in our living room that's a bit dark when the sun isn't shining in, but the space just wasn't quite big enough for a regular size table and lamp.

While out thrifting one day, I came across this table/lamp combo.
Perfect!!

For just $10, I took it home with me.
I already had a can of Amy Howard paint as well as a burlap lampshade so this turned out to be a very inexpensive project.

Here she is all pretty now, lighting up this little corner.

Statuary - pulled out of the garden {it's actually one of those things that you hide a spare key in}
Baby Ben Clock - 25 cents
Old Books - already had on hand

Not too bad for a grand total of $10.25 - Chic on a budget!!

Have a great day everyone!

Kathleen

A Pretty Little Table

I wanted to show you this pretty little table that I found.

Right away I loved all of the wonderful scrolled detail on the doors and knew it would look fantastic with a new coat of paint.

I painted the top in graphite and the rest in duck egg blue.

The whole piece got 2 coats of clear wax
and then a bit of dark wax on the doors to bring out all of the beautiful detail.

I love how she turned out and guess what?  She's for sale!

If you're in the local Hagerstown or Frederick, MD areas and you'd love to have this pretty little table in your home, send me a message.  I'll set it up in my Etsy shop and she can be yours!

Thanks so much for stopping by everyone -
Have a great weekend!

Kathleen
