Well, one of my worst fears has come to fruition. Our computer crashed and we lost everything. Yes, everything. Pictures included. Luckily, I had some of them backed up and I know that's better than none at all, but still...baby pictures, all of the kids, vacation etc...Out of hundreds of pictures I might have saved about 70 of them. Thank goodness I have a blog. Some of them are right here within the pages of this blog.
Anyway, we're not sure whether to fix it or try to budget for a new one so please hang in there with me while we figure out what to do. I might be MIA for awhile but I have every intention of continuing this blog.
You know what the real kicker is? It was only 1 year and two months old. The warranty just ran out at the end of June.
I'll be back...sooner than later I hope!!

I've actually laid awake nights worrying about that. I'm SO sorry! Guess I know what I need to do tomorrow.
The computer--love it/hate it!!!! I just read an article a couple of weeks ago that said it's not a matter of "whether" your computer will ever crash, but "when" it will. I went right out and bought a flash drive to back up everything, but it's still it it's packaging...I'm having router issues here right now, very flustrating, so I feel your pain. Good luck with everything.

I'm sorry about your computer, and really hope you can have it fixed. It might be worth the expenses and be worthwhile if it can help save all of your pictures. The information is still stored on the hard disk, and somebody with the right skill might get the information back. I have two friends that was able to do just that with their computers. :o)
I would really like to visit you blog again and hope it is ok with you if I become one of your blog followers. :o)
